We're proud to announce that Audacia has achieved ISO 42001 certification, awarded by CfA (Centre for Assessment).
ISO 42001 is the world's first international standard for AI management systems. It sets out a framework for organisations to develop, provide and use AI responsibly - balancing the pace of innovation with the governance, transparency, security and accountability that AI systems demand.
Getting to this point meant pulling together evidence, documenting established processes, and demonstrating that our AI management system holds up to independent, external scrutiny. The audit assessed how we manage AI risk and governance across the whole business - including how teams like HR and marketing use AI in their own processes - not just within software development, reflecting the reality that responsible AI adoption has to be a company-wide commitment.
Richard Brown, Technical Director at Audacia said:
"Delighted to share that after a few months in the making Audacia has officially achieved ISO 42001 certification! This is the first certification of its kind and a real reflection of how seriously we take responsible AI. Very proud of the work that's gone into this, and excited to keep building on it.”
Audacia supports organisations across regulated and complex industries - including healthcare, transport, energy, construction, law, education, finance and retail - with bespoke software development, data engineering, cloud solutions and AI.
Looking ahead, Audacia will continue to build on this framework as our use of AI, and our clients', continues to grow, ensuring innovation and governance move forward together.
